Muze Development has been serving clients for 20 years. We work with all kinds of clients and industries, from law firms to schools to medical. We’re easy to work with, our clients stick around, and we’re looking to add a contract designer to the bench so we’re ready when projects come up.
About the work
We need a designer who can work in a clean, corporate, professional, polished style. Projects will have a web focus with strong print ability required. Most of what we’ll send your way will be digital, things like landing pages, web layouts, and branded collateral for online use. You should be equally comfortable producing print-ready files when a project calls for it (reports, one-pagers, event collateral, brochures).
Work is assigned on a per-project basis. Some months there may be several projects, other months fewer. We’ll reach out when something fits your skillset and availability.
Deadlines matter. Our clients plan campaigns, events, and launches around our delivery dates, and we plan ours around yours. We need someone who treats a due date as a commitment, flags risks early, and delivers on time, every time.
We’re not looking for someone who just executes the brief. We want someone who spots the gaps, asks the right questions, and goes a little extra when it makes the work better.
A note on AI
We appreciate and use AI ourselves. Using it for ideation, wireframing, or speeding up your process is completely fine with us. What we’re not looking for is work that has that AI-designed look. If your final designs read as AI-generated, we’re not the right fit. We want polished, human-crafted design that happens to have AI somewhere in the workflow, not the other way around.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of professional design experience
- Proven ability to hit deadlines consistently
- A clean, polished, professional design sensibility
- Web design fluency (landing pages, web layouts, responsive thinking)
- Print production know-how (bleeds, specs, press-ready files)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Figma (either is fine)
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and great at communicating
- A portfolio that shows the kind of polished work described above
